On the left we have a material handling
device that rides on a pair of rails to
deliver heavy loads of drywall and building
trusses down the assembly table.  The fully
guarded material hauler has a controlled
tilting table, and provides the operator
wireless forward and reversing controls to
optimize the operators efficiency as he
works back and forth across the assembly
table.  The engineering data was
electronically transferred to the assembler
so the assembler could use their Master
Cam software for CNC machining.
The above water quenching operation uses
a 2 axis jib crane setup.  After the inner
parts are cooled, they free-fall through the
base into a specialized pit for removal by
forklift.  This specialized machinery
removes shrink fitted parts from an
assembly.  This automated system allows
the owner to address services requested
by their customers and allows them to enter
into other new markets.

Whether you require an automated assembly line or
an individual piece of equipment, MDE has the
optimal solution for you.
Material Handling

This material handling device addresses a
situation where a 20,000 lb cylindrical load is
being removed from a semi-trailer and placed
into a plant.  The gantry crane could not handle
the load as it overturned to an upright or
horizontal position.  This simple cradle device
allows for safe material orientation for the next
process.  MDE provided engineering data
transfer directly to the machine tool facility for
the water jetting of the wide bulkheads.
